Hi all,
I set up ssh on a friends machine, and for reasons unknown it is now
broken.
when you login, using verbose mode you get the following
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
debug: Requesting compression at level 6.
debug: Enabling compression at level 6.
debug: Requesting pty.
debug: Requesting X11 forwarding with authentication spoofing.
debug: Requesting shell.
debug: Entering interactive session.
usage: login [-p] [name]
login [-p] [-h host] [-f name]
login [-p] -r host
Connection to bloodgod.dhs.org closed.
debug: Transferred: stdin 0, stdout 92, stderr 40 bytes in 0.3 seconds
debug: Bytes per second: stdin 0.0, stdout 270.5, stderr 117.6
debug: Exit status 1
debug: compress outgoing: raw data 200, compressed 200, factor 1.00
debug: compress incoming: raw data 104, compressed 72, factor 0.69
Well, this is the relevant bit any way. Why would we be getting a login
error. I checked in /etc/pam.d/sshd and /etc/ssh
