Hmm, I am most baffled as to why Optus@Home have chosen to make their
Olympics video coverage Windows Media Player 7 only. Not only does this
cancel out all Linux users, but Macintosh users too! The latest version
of the player for their platform is 6.3, and will not play all of 7's
streaming data.
Makes me wonder if Channel 7 like the version number, although RealVideo
is also version 7. Actually, maybe it's 8 now [hmmm!]
I guess it's a bit late to do anything useful about it, but if you wanted,
you could write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and complain about it
(Optus@Home customers especially :P)
I've already done so.
