there are a few encrypted nfs servers (encrypted on disk, nfs server
serves decrypted plain text). not really useful for a laptop.
i'd apply the crypto kernel patches, and try the encrypted loopback
driver.
none of these help, if you leave the laptop logged in / filesystem
mounted / etc. to prevent that you either need to decrypt on each
access, or put some timeout mechanism on it.
these are best done at application level (imo) (eg: just use pgp or
something). (although you might be able to do a timeout using the
automounter)
