With regard to the LILO problem...
I did that once, and what you've done is splatter lilo over the
first xxx blocks of your windows install, thus effectively
killing it, afaik...
i *think* your only recourse is a reinstall. However, the fact
it won't mount the partition is because you're trying to mount a
Win partition as 'ext2', when you should be aiming for 'vfat'.
