I usually use addr 330, IRQ11, DMA5 but those params should be fine.  I'm
pretty sure the 1542 drivers are on the Red Hat default install.  I've had
my old 486 with 1542B, 1542CF and a 1740 (EISA) in 1542 emulation mode
working fine.

I know this is really kludgy, but if you boot from a Win9x emergency boot
disk does the 154x driver find the card properly?
