Thank you all for your helpful replies. I was eventually able to get Debian to autodetect at 334. My tomsrtbt disk sees it too. Interestingly enough, the RH install disk still yelps for a driver disk. But as my preference is to put in Debian (which I now have) then I'm more than happy. Thanks again all.
