The LiViD <http://www.linuxvideo.org> people are getting tantalisingly
close to a working DVD movie player for Linux. I've got video working
fine, audio is still a bit choppy. Be worth having a look at their pages
before you buy a DVD drive. From memory, Matrox and Creative are the
ones to go for.
