Hi John,

That's just because you have a *.inodes.org MX entry (I'm assuming inodes.org is the 
search domain on your mail server?).. - so any domains which don't resolve get 
resolved as subdomains of your own:

~ >$dig anydomain.inodes.org MX
;; ANSWER SECTION:
anydomain.inodes.org.   1D IN MX        10 mx.zip.com.au.
anydomain.inodes.org.   1D IN MX        20 mx2.zip.com.au.
anydomain.inodes.org.   1D IN MX        5 mail.inodes.org.

BTW, ns.inodes.org is allowing zone transfers.. :)
