It untars fine as far as I can see - just I get these errors and its
repeatable.
The version of tar on my Debian Alpha is 1.13.17 and at work is the
same.
Tared a few test files on my Alpha and when I cp them to Jills SUSE
Intel I get the same time_t error as I got at work when I untar. Files
tarred on the Intel untar fine on the Alpha. Has anyone had any probs
with files tared on Debian and untarred on RH or SUSE? Otherwise it
looks like there is a prob with the Alpha Debian tar. I'll have a look
for this prob on the debian-alpha list archive now.
