Hi all, I've tried playing around with ntop and can't seem to get it doing what I need and maybe someone can point me in the direct direction and hopefully not where the sun don't shine.... hee hee. My Intel router can display in (close to) realtime the network traffic based on protocol.. eg. HTTP -------------------- 60% SMTP ---- 10% FTP -------- 30% Telnet - 5% POP3 - 5% ..Well something like that. I need to be able to display more protocols which the router doesn't do but the linux box here is the firewall so it sees all the traffic.
