Just following up on last night's demo of Sweep (a sound wave editor).

the web site for the project is at:

  http://sweep.sourceforge.net/

I've set up a local mirror of the web pages at:

  http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~conradp/sweep/

More information, downloads for Debian and RedHat etc. are available
there. The overview I went through last night is:

  http://sweep.sourceforge.net/tutorials/quick_tour/
  http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~conradp/sweep/tutorials/quick_tour/

The LADSPA (The Linux Audio Developers Simple Plugin API) site is
at http://www.ladspa.org/. The numerous filter plugins come from the
Computer Music Toolkit, available at http://www.ladspa.org/cmt/.

There are a few soft realtime audio processing packages available
using LADSPA, such as Quasimodo and GDAM; these are listed on the
LADSPA site. I also mentioned my own soft-rt thing AUBE but it does
not yet support LADSPA (http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~conradp/aube/).

Conrad.
