Ken explained this - it's not a filesystem path, but a pointer to a Unix
socket. There is another process doing the font serving on your machine.
Don't worry about this - it should "just work".

If you're running Red Hat, grab your CD and I'm sure they're on there. I
know they shipped the 100dpi fonts in RH6.2.
