Hi all,
I'm sure you probably all know by now, there's this little conference thing
going on in January, and there's a few interesting people coming along...
Might be a bit of a party going on and such. ;)
http://linux.conf.au/ is the website to peruse if you're interested in
what's going on. There's also an announcements list I recommend you join so
you know when registrations are open and other important details.
We're interested in hearing from people who are able to provide a room,
mattress, rug, or laundry to billet some of our guests. Being close to UNSW
would be a plus, given that we'll be spending most of our time there.
Yes, this could be your opportunity to keep a kernel hacker in your back
room for a few days. You can't ask for better support than that. ;)
There are students coming from across the country, and jet-lagged guests who
may prefer shacking up in a geek house and having some fun to raiding the
minibar for peanuts and vodka at a generic hotel.
Please reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Reply-To set
appropriately) with details about your location and rooms or beds available,
and we'll keep in touch with you as we receive registrations and send out
our invitations.
