That would require a full recompile of X, which I'm not all that interested
in doing. Current released X can't handle the new DRM interface in the newer
2.4 series kernels...

However, given that I now know about stow's existence (thanks Gus!) I guess
it wouldn't hurt to try. Too great an investment of time for someone who
hardly ever plays games and doesn't care about screensavers. :)
