Provider as a Network Engineer. The Job Description is as follows:
Due to expansion DotCom is seeking a highly motivated and driven Network
Engineer to be involved in the installation of Cisco routers
switches and monitoring systems as well as network
troubleshooting. Working with the latest technologies you will be
playing a pivotal role in the
expansion of this highly successful organisation by designing and
producing specifications for network infrastructure and being involved in the
introduction of new technologies.
You must have the following MANDATORY SKILLS:
Minimum 2 - 3 years commercial experience as a Network Engineer with a
minimum 6 months "hands on" experience with Cisco technologies such as
Cisco routers and switches (IOS).
Strong understanding of routing, CIDR and related principals in a WAN
environment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suit.
Previous experience with Frame-Relay, ISDN and related Layer 2
technologies.
Strong exposure of Internet Server systems, including
Sendmail, Apache, Mysql and Squid.

POSITION: Junior Systems Administrator

POSITION OVERVIEW:
DotCom is seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior
Systems Administrator to be involved in providing support to our clients
customer base via email and telephone. You will also be carrying out
operational tasks involving our clients Unix Servers and Cisco
Routers and assisting with maintenance and updating the corporate website.
You must have extensive operations knowledge of Windows suite of operating
systems (95,98, 2000, NT) as well as Netscape, IE, MS Outlook, Outlook
Express, Eudoro, Dial-up networking and TCP/IP. If you also have
familiarity with HTML as well as excellent communication skills, and a
desire to succeed then you are the ideal candidate. Any knowledge
of the following
would be considered desirable:
Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
Knowledge of Internet routing concepts.
DNS, Domain name, Web hosting experience.
