Hmm, would you care to share the permanent IP address? = Don't.
Do you leave the front door of your house unlocked and wide open?
I don't know of any app that can not be passed through a firewall. Some
just take a bit more effort to set up. Read the HOW-TOs and ask the list
if you get stuck. It is a lot easier than wondering all the time if the
stuff that is running is your stuff or someone else's app.
