/etc/apt/sources.list :)

It's just a text file that points to the archives you're interested in.
Here's my one that I use for woody (with comments!):

---

# The main repositories - this is Real Debian
# I sometimes use the US site when CSE and AARNET aren't synced well

# Debian US
#deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable main

# Debian CSE

deb http://mirror.cse.unsw.edu.au/debian-non-US unstable/non-US main
#deb-src http://mirror.cse.unsw.edu.au/debian unstable main

# I love my Helix GNOME, except for some packaging issues that come up from
# time to time, that end up being answered with "Works for me!" even though
# there are lots of people who have troubles with it. Still, Helix is top
# stuff.
#
# The second one is their in-development repository - Evolution, MetaTheme
# and other such perky software is available there.

# Helix GNOME
deb http://spidermonkey.helixcode.com/distributions/Debian unstable main
deb ftp://ftp.helixcode.com/helix/evolution/distributions/Debian ./

# Yakk is a student in WA who's going to work for Eazel next year, and he'll
# hopefully give them a dose of the Debians. They just haven't been
# interested in supporting it, and probably haven't had the time.
#
# This is one of the places you can get Nautilus packages, and its
# dependencies. I haven't used this in a while, so I don't know if it's
# still up. :)

# Yakk's eazel-hacking repository
#deb http://yakk.ucc.asn.au/eazel-hacking . .

# galeon.sourceforge.net... 'nuff said. ;)

# Galeon
#deb ftp://galeon.sourceforge.net/pub/galeon/nightly/debian galeoncvsm18/

# For some reason I have this in here, forget why. Not sure if it works.

# Wine Nightlies
#deb http://www.hungrycats.org/~drunkard/debian drunkard main

---

You can tell that I really only have the others for bleeding edge stuff.
Helix is probably the only one that I'd really recommend for everyone, but
that depends on your preference of DE, and if you care to have the Helix
packages.

You'll also notice that I don't have any "contrib non-free" as you'll
probably find in your default sources.list. Any guesses why? :)
