Its not a *freakin'* mail client. Its a PIM with Mail functionality
stickytaped on.

As a group/collaborative PIM, it works well [via OpenMail on one of our
Linux servers] I can send Task and Meeting requests to other staff in the
office, which then show up on their calendars and task lists [if they accept
them]. I can check to see who's theoretically availible according to their
schedules when scheduling meetings.

The main features I use are the Task list and email. As an email client,
its sufficent [once you turn on Restricted Zone security - but mutt is still
better for internet mail]. With the OpenMail MAPI plugins, we get immediate
mail notification the moment the message arrives in our mailbox. [handy when
you're waiting on important stuff]. And the Address Book is handy [because
we have our global address book, we usually look up each other in the
address book, rather than try to remember how to spell each others
surnames].

The big problem is there is a serious absense of good programs on Linux to
fill this category, which has me stuck with a 'doze box on my desktop at
work. [no, I don't have time to write my own]. [OK, so I have to 'doze box
to play CounterStrike as well... but thats not important ;)]
