At my last job we had some Konica photocopiers that were networked as
printers I had great success with
a2ps (anything to postscript)
I managed to get it printing multiple virtual pages to a side and on both
sides of the paper.
As I recall it could do syntax highlighting and lots of cool stuff as well.
