Yer i know replying to my own message here, but just from reading their
site, it only supports outlook in Internet Mail Only mode, which is a nice
stable mode for outlook compared to Corporate Workgroup, but you lose
features - like instant mail etc.
OpenMail uses a custom MAPI driver to plugin to outlook in Corporate
workgroup. Keep in mind that when you run exchange, CWO mode is what you use
instead of IMO, so its not a true replacement for exchange unless it support
CWO. Until then its just a fancy bundled SMTP, IMAP, LDAP and Ical server,
not that theres anything wrong with that.
I like outlook in IMO mode, its alot stabler than CWO mode thats for sure,
and some things don't work right in CWO.
neway, I still await someones review from trying it :-)
