cp /usr/src/linux/System.map /boot
(However, you may like to call it System.map-2.2.18 and soft link to it.)
You may want to read the documentation that comes with the kernel (in
'Documentation'), as it explains the *entire* process required to compile
your kernel, as opposed to some of the 2 page "Gosh What Is Linux?" guides
in dumb magazines. :)
