Just to be clear:

There is no meeting scheduled for December. We decided (but obviously
neglected to communicate) that a meeting on the 22nd was too close
to Christmas and that one on the 29th was too close to the end of
the millennium.

We had asked if there was any interest in having a BBQ or
Christmas type affair on weekends priot but there wasn't any
significant interest.

Next January, while these things aren't set in stone, we will
probably move the meeting to earlier in the week as the normal
date (26th) will be a big party and public holiday.

We are still thinking about when but we, as a committee, have
a preference for early in the week as this might make it easier
to book out large restaurants without too many problems arising.

This will also give us a chance to have one or two of the
conference speakers who have hung around for the 26th festivaties
to give a talk.

Please let us know, either privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
or on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list, if you have any comments.

Thanks and enjoy the New Year break.

Regards,
Anand
