Yes and Yes, you are out of place.
1 - This is a LINUX users group list. So Unix is not applicable. We
usually suggest people post LINUX related jobs at
http://www.linux.org.au/jobs
2 - It is the Sydney LUG, not the Melbourne LUG (Linux Users Group).
3 - We would tolerate a similar post from a Slug member because they are
involved in the group and help out.
4 - Agencies are usually NOT tolerated because they are basically
clueless.
5 - I usually tell people looking for work to check out
http://www.jobnet.com.au where Greythorn regularly posts its generic
adds anyway. Hint, try giving some details of each job - it makes your
agency post much more credible.
6 - Even spammers claim they are trying to be helpful.
7 - That sig is really a bit excessive.
