[SLUG] 2.4 on a laptop

Hi Guys,

        Just did the upgrade from 2.4.0-prerelease to 2.4.0, has anyone had
troubles doing this and getting the modules to work. I have a feeling it could
have been the way I installed the pcmcia modules.

        I opted out of using the pcmcia modules in the kernel source tree.

        Apart from some module problems, seems fine to me.
