I also have a hpt-370 controller.
>From what I have discovered from the highpoint web site (the company that
produces the chipset)
Any RAID functions are not supported in Linux with the provided drivers.

Around this problem? install windows.
But is installing windows ever a solution to a problem??

If you want, you can give me one of the 30gig's since you cant get it
working in RAID then.. :P~

On a side note, I commend this company, releasing such a fine product, and
also releasing a Linux driver. :)
I am running slack7.1 w/ reiser on this controller and it works like a
dream. :)

Hey,

I am trying to install redhat 7.0 on my pc which runs an abit kt7-raid
motherboard with a hgihpoint 370 onboard raid controller.

I have 2 30gig hard drives striped into one 60gb drive but when I goto
install Linux it sees them as the two harddrives.

Does anyone know a way around this?

Thanks,

Andrew
