Your best bet ain't ipchains but rather ipfwadm.
You can get this packaged for most distros. Search on google for it.
It allows portforwarding fairly straight forwardly. (!)
Also, i don't know why you have it listening on strange port numbers.
My advice would be that if you don't understand it at first, leave it on
conventional ports so less stuff can go wrong, then get it working and then
play with port numbers.
One step at a time :)
