[SLUG] Cannot open Shared libraries

Hey all,
I installed Xfree86 4.0.1 and after setup I have recieved this error;
"xinit: error in loading shared libraries: libXmu.so.6: cannot open shared
object"
I havn't seen this error before, and has stumped me.
any help would be gratefull
