Yup, you're perfectly correct. If there's another "unlimited" ADSL
providor out there, I'm yet to find it.

P'raps when Optus settles down they'll make something available -
especially with the Southern Cross cable running.

I did too, once upon a time, but I'd rather have a guraanteed 512k than 2
meg which could be shared between up to 20 other people - and true
unlimited downloads, rather than Optus' "10 times the average use" crap.

I was all set to go with Optus cable until they changed the AUP from
unlimited to this averaging junk. But I won't do it now - while I might
not download anything near that, if I'm paying for an "unlimited" service,
I damn well want to have one, not be dependant on what _other_ people do
to affect the average.
