Linux Lovers Launch Large Lab

"The [American] industry's first independent, nonprofit lab for developers
who are adding business-oriented capabilities to Linux and Linux-based
software opens for business Wednesday.
Backed by the support of 19 sponsor companies and more than $24 million
in funding, the Open Source Development Lab is an 11,000-square-foot
computing center located in Beaverton, Oregon, a high-tech district west
of Portland."
Not at all a bad place to reside, southern Oregon :)
What are the chances we something on this scale (or even 1/10th this
scale) here in Oz?
