It's been a while since I played with fpc... last time was about version
1.0.0
At that point, the lazarus library was pretty incomplete, but I could
compile
a few primitive Delphi apps. The main problem was language support for
Delphi extensions... they'd only got as far as Delphi 1.0 language
extensions.
I assume things have progressed a bit by now.
In any case, I always compiled stuff just by getting the paths to the
fpc
binaries and libraries correct, and then typing 'fpc blah.pas'....
