The X-Window options? It sounds like it's the WM options you want. The
best way to do that is to do something like rm -rf .sawfish in the users
home directory. You might also want to do rm -rf .gnome*, carefully,
from the users home dir. If it's /really/ x you've screwed up, the
config files are (in debian) in /etc/X11, ie: where you'd expect, and
you'll need to fix those, not blow them away. If it really isn't the WM,
try reporting the exact detailed symptoms here, perhaps someone can
help.
