Hi,
I have a need for a script that will allow me to feed it a list of
usernames and passwords. The problem I have is that I have just used a
script called AddPopUser to create 175 year 7 users on a new server,
unfotuantely the passwords are not working, I suspect that a CR or LF has
been included in the encryption. They were all supposed to be set to a
default of 'student'. Now rather than ripping all the suers out again, I am
looking for some kind person who knows about these things to send me a
short script that would call 'passwd' repeatedly from names in a file and
set them to a default that I can provide. I had a look at the AddPopUsers
script, but not knowing enough about it I was not able to reverse engineer
what I needed.
