The main thing would be to tell them how to help themselves - apropos,
man, info, google etc. There's lots of help if you know where to look.
Maybe recommend a good book for those who want to learn more. O'Reilly
books are an obvious choice.

Since you'll be talking to comp.sci. students, how about telling them
about the different programming language tools that are available, and
how much they cost? ;)
