I have just discovered that some RPMS of MySQL are distributed and install
as MySQL-* and others as mysql-*

The problem was that when I went to install php-mysql* from the RPM it
objected because it couldn't find mysql even though MySQL was installed
and running.

Would it be OK to force the install in such a case, and why do we have
such a problem anyway.

BTW, the mysql idea comes from the Horde Project, MySQL comes from MySQL
AB.
