Subject: linux

Hello everyone !

I have installed Linux Mandrake on my sistem tonight (PIII 500, 128MB Ram,
2.5GB HDD for Linux, 10GB for Win98se)

I have a USB printer and having trouble configuring Linux to recognise it.
When looking for physical location / address it asks for an /dev/lp address.
What is a term for USB ?

The other problem is the modem. I thought i've done this correctly in the
setup, but when trying to connect to internet i keep getting a message
"Modem not responding". Using drakx to configure the modem, there is a
utility which Query's the modem, but when i use it i get a message "Modem
not found or not responding"

Any ideas ?
