If I have a scsi diskpack attached to a linux box and I want to remove and replace the diskpack without affecting the machine (apart from the fact it won't be able to use those disk(s) of course), is there any problem in unmounting the disk(s), removing the scsi module, swapping diskpack, inserting the scsi module, mounting disk(s)? I guess I'm asking how well does the kernel handle modules (specifically scsi) being removed/inserted like that?
