Goto http://freshmeat.net and look for gphoto.
They have a list (not as comprehensive as it could be) of cameras
supported. I got a Kodak DC3400 recently which wasn't on the list
but works perfectly. Just make sure you get one that does standard
RS232, although USB may also be OK.
