Hello All
Wondering if someone can suggest why my modem disconnects after a few
minutes of connection.
I am running SUSE 7.0, modem is configured with wvdial within Yast
Baud rate is set to 115200, it is a Rockwell 56k External Modem
When it disconnects the message i get within wvdial is the following;
pppd: Terminating connection due to lack of activity
pppd: Script /etc/ppp/ip-down started
pppd: Terminate request (Message: "Link inactive")
I have checked with my ISP and it is a problem with my configuration.
Within rc.config file CLOSE_CONNECTIONS = false
Any suggestions anyone?????
