Hi all,

At a telnet login prompt the backspace ends up being a ^H and I want to fix
this to work properly. I thought that the /etc/gettydefs may have something
to do with this to correct it properly but I can't seem to figure this out..
Can someone guide me?

I thought a basic `stty -erase` would do it but it can't for the login
prompt.. I've gone mental blank again for a Monday morning after the Sunday
night beers..

I'm using RedHat 6.2

thanks,
George Vieira
