HELP!

I'm relatively new to this having only started into this two weeks before
the installfest. Incidentally, that was extremely helpful and thanks to
"Martin" who gave me several hours help.

I am still getting used to all this command line stuff and how the files and
directories are used for commands.

I accidentally typed a "/usr" instead of just using "usr/" to delete some
oracle files I am trying to install for uni.

As Murphy would have it I was using "$rm -rf" at the time.

I realised once it started that I had done a bad thing and am now minus some
useful directories namely "/usr/bin" and "/usr/X11R6" :-((

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what else may be gone as well but I think
they're the crucial ones!

Could someone please drop me a line and let me know whether it's possible to
rescue those directories without reinstalling Linux? I had to do quite some
fiddling to get it to all (mostly) work and would like to minimise any
reinstallation.

I can still reboot into Linux.

Thanks in advance.
