Hi,

I have lost my RPM database, it seems.

When I then do:

rpm -qa

I get nothing. No output.

And any other query will also get nothing.

What is the easiest way to get one's RPM data base back?
I have tried:
rpm --initdb
rpm --rebuild

but when I then do again:

rpm -qa

Still nothing. No output.

And any other query will also still get nothing.

What can I do?
If I run an upgrade from the CD will that give me back the database?
