Yay thanks Jeff. It's a different app than what I had before but Linda
here (ie NOT Jill) will now be able to reboot the machine correctly.
SystemMenu was = 0. Thanks. 
Gee there is lots of other nice stuff there too - must try the
/usr/share/faces bit :-)
