youch that's a toughy
There was a denial of service attack that was around some time ago that
exploited some dodgy modems that would react to a "+++" sequence and drop
into command mode (even though the hayes standard says there should be a
healthy delay between each +).
you need to know what the minimum thing that you need to do to get it
working again. ie , just turn the modem off/on (then this might be it)
