"The present kernel has modules disabled"
but they are not!
Can anyone remember the cause of this?
(Please do not tell me it is kernel config, because it aint - this
kernel loads modules).
I had this problem in Nov 1999 and I know I posted the cause/soln to the
Slug List, but neither Slug's or my archive has the solution post. HTdig
seems to have stuffed indexing in both places.
BTW - I've found the RH sources rpm that installs the /usr/src/linux
stuff (it was on disk one and not disk four (the sources CD rom).
