At work I want to setup a web based playlist editor as an MP3 server.
I checked out freshmeat and found andromeda but I don't think it's quite what
I'm after.

I'll descibe the ideal setup I would like:
We have a webserver with php scripting on one of the machines. The web based
playlist editor would need to be a link off the pages already on this
machine. I then have another machine on the LAN which has some very nice
speakers which is where I would like the mp3 playback to happen. The mp3
files would ideally be located anywhere on the LAN, with the users of the LAN
able to add their local files to the mp3s available in the web based playlist
selector and to be able to modify the songs in the playlist. Anyone will be
able to add anyone else's mp3s.

Can it be done?

The Andromeda php script is very neat and lets you search the mp3 collection,
it would be good if this searching is still possible.

Are there any solutions that do this?
