Yes. Sometimes aarnet can be very slow even from the uni here. I just
then go to another site and try to forget that that then costs the uni
more $ :-(
I have noticed it recently in setting up my sources.list
I have been editing our everything in sources, except one URL then doing
apt-get update and seeing the response time, then re-editing and trying
another URL. Gives a good idea of what URLs to use. (to cut some folks
off at the pass here, although the above sounds silly its good for
learning and ping does not return the same information on how long an
update may take). It has shown that aarnet can be slow compared to US
sites or au.debian.
