Definately.

One way would, be to set up the Netdrive as a FAT (16 - 32) arive and mount 
that under Linux - OK, not the most efficient use of space, but it'll work.

I can understand the space problem - I have it at work with (l)users filling 
up their P: drive (P:=PERSONAL - i.e. not work-related) - we set a hard 10Mb 
limit on the drive - if they run out of space, tough - delete something. 
Maybe this would work ?
