I didn't want to get into a flame throwing match though I must admit it was a little bit fun.
Sorry for subjecting others to it though. It's a visceous circle - each person makes the other person want to set it right
publicly and so on round in circles.
Advice: keep flames from day 1 private and they will never need to go on public mailing lists.
