I say scrap Optus. They might be cheaper but they certainly dont perform. We
used to buy bandwidth from Optus here at RAMS so we could WAN all our
branches but we have since scrapped them and gone with Tel$tra or
actually..maybe we are with a company called Xircon...maybe its both...

I'm currently looking at (expensive) bandwidth upgrades through Optus, who
have told me there is no problem with their network - apart from one
massive outage about 2/3 weeks ago.
My experience is that their network is randomly ratty.. that is, mostly
it's ok but occasionally it dies badly. It is making me question spending
money with them, especially cos I can't get a straight answer.
Any thoughts?
