all, when I use ncftp to download a larger number files from a linux based machine ncftp dies half the way through. Logs: May 31 16:57:12 piquet ftpd[9672]: FTP LOGIN FROM schumacher.barrett.com.au [210.9.93.241], jobst May 31 16:57:39 piquet ftpd[9672]: lost connection to schumacher.barrett.com.au [210.9.93.241] May 31 16:57:39 piquet ftpd[9672]: FTP session closed and on the downloading machine: Could not read reply from control connection (errno=0) machine: RH7.1 Mylex DAC960 based controller (ibm disks, this combo is suggested) Netgear FA310 (100) all machines are connected via switches.
